Slipping quality

I am more than upset with the sliding quality of this resin. The customer support has gone with it. Multiple shipments with ORANGE hardener, and when I asked for over a month to get a refund I get responses with excuses and yes it is on the way - I have yet to get any help. I will no longer recommend this company it is more than disappointing when you run a business and depend on a quality product and customer service but neither exists any longer with this company! Steer clear and find another product!

color lines stay where you put them!

This resin is perfect for geode art!
I *was* using the brand "Art Resin", which has the same viscosity, but the results I was getting for geodes were disappointing. No matter how carefully/sparingly I applied color lines, with Art Resin they overlapped and blended unpredictably. And if you add glitter, it spreads outward inexorably & uncontrollably, to all the layers. The green glittery mess in my 1st photo is what happens with Art Resin.
In the other photo, I started with Art Resin & *was* getting a blurry blended mess (the areas right next to the crystals). Then I switched to Resin Art Flow Arte resin and got the beautiful crisp clean lines you can see with the white, dark blue, and greenish gold. SOOOO much better.
Just be aware that this resin has a short working time - max 30 min if you're working with really small quantities. If you leave a larger quantity to sit, the working time goes down to maybe 20 min. I knew that bigger volumes cure faster (that's just how resin works), but I didn't realize it would be this acute. The melted, hardened mess in the cup, in the last photo, was what happened to 1/4 cup of Arte resin in 20 min, while I was busy pouring other bits. This won't be an issue if you plan for it, and divide up your resin into smaller cups right away.
I am definitely going to use Resin Art Flow Arte brand from now on. I'm so excited to know I'll be able to create geode paintings with nice, clear bands of color instead of blurry messes.
Last but not least, it has an amazingly short cure time. It is hard as a rock after 6 hours. This is super convenient if you need to work quickly/produce a lot of stuff in a short period.

Resin art kit

The hardener was fine, but the resin had some that had set to the inside of the bottle. I’m not getting any molds to set perfectly…they are a bit tacky. The green alcohol paint is very light, barely visible…Wouldn’t purchase again, but since I’m using it for practice, it’s a cheap alternative!

Micro bubbles galore!

I wanted to love this resin. I did a test with several brands of resin in a controlled environment and this resin had more bubbles than the others. What I loved about this resin is that it had no yellowish hue to the clear resin sample I poured, whereas the other resins had a yellowish cast to it. However, I could not mix a batch that didn’t have thousands of micro bubbles in it. I mean the very tiny ones. I warmed up the resin to 77 degrees fahrenheit. I used a plastic stir stick. I used a silicone stir stick. I used a metal rod with a ball at the end. I stirred slow. I mixed in a plastic cup. I mixed in a paper cup. I mixed in a silicone cup. I let the resin rest for 5 minutes before pouring. I am not new to resin, however every single time I mixed this resin, I had so many micro bubbles. I made a small 6 in x 6 in art piece and the topcoat has micro bubbles all in it. So I cannot use this resin. As much as I wanted to love it and I tried to work with it, I cannot use this resin.
